Archer Wikipedia
Set at the International Secret Intelligence Service (ISIS), suave master spy Sterling Archer deals with global espionage; a domineering, hypersexual, late middle-aged mother/boss, Malory Archer; his ex-girlfriend, Agent Lana Kane; her ISIS accountant boyfriend Cyril Figgis; and a less-than-masculine code name "Duchess".
The series itself is comparable to Reed's former shows for Adult Swim, Frisky Dingo and Sealab 2021, in a series driven by rapid-fire dialogue and interaction-based drama. The series also features an anachronistic style: using fashion from the 1960s, technology that is a mix of 1980s era computer technology alongside modern technology, and an alternate-universe style political status quo in the form of the Soviet Union still being active in the year 2010.
Archer IMDB
At ISIS, an international spy agency, global crises are merely opportunities for its highly trained employees to confuse, undermine, betray and royally screw each other. At the center of it all is suave master spy Sterling Archer, whose less-than-masculine code name is "Duchess." Archer works with his domineering mother Malory, who also is his boss. He also has to deal with his ex-girlfriend, Agent Lana Kane and her new boyfriend, ISIS comptroller Cyril Figgis, as well as Malory's lovesick secretary, Cheryl.
Archer TV Guide
Intrigue (and plenty of ineptitude) at an international intelligence agency. The animated comedy was created by 'Adult Swim' veteran Adam Reed ('Sealab 2021,' 'Frisky Dingo').
Archer TV.com
Archer is an animated, half-hour comedy set at the International Secret Intelligence Service (ISIS), a spy agency where espionage and global crises are merely opportunities for its highly trained employees to confuse, undermine, betray and royally mess up together.
Archer TV Rage
Archer is a new series from Adam Reed, creator of Frisky Dingo and Sealab 2021.
Set at an international spy agency known as ISIS, Archer is the story of a group of highly trained combatants. Rather than take the global crises they are called up for seriously, the team often use them as opportunities to confuse, betray, and just royally screw each other.
The show will be produced by FX Productions
